Short Biography:

  • Dr. Peter Su, M.D. is double board-certified physician in both PM&R (physical medicine and rehabilitation) and interventional pain management. Dr. Su graduated college from the University of California, San Diego then went on to complete his medical school training at Ross University School of Medicine. He subsequently went to Boston, MA to complete his residency in PM&R at Tufts Medical Center. Afterwards, he completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in pain management at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA. With his background training in PM&R, Dr. Su take pride in the philosophy of maximizing function, with an emphasis in functional restoration. Dr. Su brings his expertise with a multidisciplinary approach to help patients dealing with chronic pain.
  • During his residency training, he developed an interest in using Eastern medicine such as acupuncture for pain relief. Thus, he completed a 1 year acupuncture training for physicians under Harvard Medical School. Furthermore, he was actively involved in academics, including multiple journal publications and presentations at national conferences during his residency. He also took on leadership roles during medical school and residency, including being on the Massachusetts Medical Society Resident Council and the Student Government Association.
  • Dr. Su grew up in southern California in sunny Los Angeles. After training in multiple states across the United States he welcomes being back at home in Las Vegas with his parents. Dr. Su enjoys serving at his local church the Crossing. He also enjoys traveling, hiking, movies, and video games.
