Short Biography:
- Dr. Fadayomi is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and a Fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Specialist, receiving his undergraduate degree and a medical degree from University of Benin Teaching Hospital in Edo State, Nigeria. He received his graduate degree in International Health Policy and Management at Brandeis University in Waltham Massachusetts. He completed his Anesthesiology Residency at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County, and then completed his Pain Fellowship at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital Department of Pain Medicine.
- His special interests lie in the field of Spinal Neuromodulation and Regenerative medicine. He is passionate about taking a multi-modal approach to the treatment of pain involving interventional and holistic approaches. He believes that promoting an active and healthy lifestyle will improve his patients’ overall health and wellbeing. In addition to his passion for interventional pain medicine, Dr. Fadayomi is also passionate about volunteerism. He has traveled to West Africa (Nigeria) and South Africa, where he taught children and community members basic hygienic practices and provided education, tools, and resources such as the usage of insecticide-treated nets and effective filtering methods for water fetched from streams.
- He received a Community Service Award in Nigeria for participating in the Clean Water Project in Auchi-Western Nigeria to fight diarrheal diseases. He led community outreach programs to provide education on clean water practices, which increased knowledge and awareness of water-borne illnesses.
- When he’s not volunteering or helping his patients find relief, he enjoys soccer, basketball, and cycling. He is currently helping patients find relief at the following locations: Glen Burnie Oak Manor, Annapolis Medical Parkway, and Bowie.
