Short Biography:

  • Dr. Jay Kumar, MD, D.ABA was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. He is a board-certified medical professional, by the American Board of Anesthesiology, who maintains composure and focus even in the most difficult and stressful circumstances.
  • Dr. Jay Kumar is an interventional pain medicine physician and anesthesiologist who strives for quality and efficiency in diagnosing and creating multi-modal treatment plans.
  • Dr. Jay Kumar is committed to providing compassionate care to all patients and collaborating with fellow physicians to diagnose, manage and evolve patient care. He has extensive experience in interventional pain management, perioperative pain management, and hospital-based anesthesiology. He is capable of treating acute and chronic pain for adult and pediatric populations.
