Short Biography:
- Dr. Olga Komargodski obtained her medical degree at the Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem, Israel. She is currently a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Resident at Stony Brook University, NY. She also has a degree in Public Health and Healthcare Management from Bar Ilan University in Israel.
- She became interested in Pain while she was caring for a patient with CRPS as a Medical Officer. Throughout her training, she was always interested in ways to make the Healthcare system safer and she is serving as the Patients’ Safety and Quality Improvement Resident.
- She is also a member of the Resident Fellow Council well-being subcommittee and contributes to peer support and wellness activities at her program. She makes teaching her priority and was humbled to receive an Intern teacher of the year award.
- Dr. Olga Komargodski believes in patient-centered multidisciplinary pain care. In her private time, Dr. Olga Komargodski enjoys creative writing and has three published books in the Russian language.
